Dash Cam Pairing

I brought a new car which has a dash cam installed, will I be able to pair it to my phone, without knowing the ins and outs of the actual camera i.e make model etc.

You may have to put the camera into 'pairing' mode via a button on the camera and then get your phone to 'look' for the device.

Is it a brand new car? If so, all that information should have come with the car.

Is the dash cam hard wired?

Yes its hardwired.

you probably need to look at it, get the name from the hardware, then download the app. Pairing should be easy

Or you could see if it connects via your Bluetooth
