Mouse Problem

Have wireless mouse and the arrow has disappeared. Have done everything I can think of. Changed batteries and it lights up when on and the scrolled and pressed but no arrow. Any help appreciated.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.A missing mouse cursor is probably more likely to be to do with a fault with Windows than it is with your mouse. If you've got a wired mouse hiding away in a drawer (as many people have after switching to a wireless mouse), dig it out to see if it will work. If it does, you'll know that the problem rests with your wireless mouse; if it doesn't the problem is with Windows.
If you've not got a wired mouse about the place, try to borrow one from a friend, neighbour or colleague. If all else fails, nip down to Asda and but one for £4:

(It's always a good idea to have a spare mouse handy anyway. I've got several of them).
