printers

I have a Canon pixma MP 780 and i want a printer for my daughter that uses the same ink cartridges. She is only 10 so dont want a singing and dancing one, just good enough for basic photos etc. I have looked on the net to find out comparable printers, but can only find a few

...There are loads of small printers around that just print 6x4 from a camera card media....just perfect for your young daughter..........I fail to see the advantage of using the same cartridges.........it's not as if you would save money, even if you went to the trouble of swapping them over you still have to use ink so what's the benefit?......commoner.
