Anybody have a phone number for complaints to Royal mail?
Looked at their FAQ's nothing covers my complaint.
Received an email from them to say my ebay parcel has been delivered showing a destination on a map.
Worked out it was at Argos, but no reference number to give to Argos at the click and collect, so phoned RM on 03457740740, waited over 20 mins for someone to answer only to be asked to hold while they found a number I would have to phone.
They eventually came back with this number 03456113245.
Rang that only to be told that number is no longer in use, so have now had to phone again and already I've been waiting 20 mins.
The chat with us isn't working either.
roadman, I always ask for parcels to be delivered there if it's an option as it saves wafting in and I can collect at my leisure.
The problem with the form is, it doesn't say when you will hear back from them, this is why I wanted a phone number.
I was hoping to pick the parcel up today but I can't without an Argos reference number.
hi barsel sorry i understand now are you able to show any royal mail information to argos to prove the parcel is yours maybe a confirmation email that it has been delivered there which will probably have some kind of number code thing to identify a unique parcel or tracking of
Have managed to finally get through again only to be told I will have already received the reference number from the seller!
This is the first time a parcel from ebay has been delivered for me by RM usually it's Hermes or another courier company and a number would begin FM/ but the man from the RM was right and I've now found the number I need to take to Argos.
That particular day I ordered 3 canvas prints from 3 different sellers all to click and collect from Argos, so I've obviously got my own wires crossed.
Will still use the complaints form to tell them the number they gave me no longer exists, so thanks for that roadman.
Oh so glad you got it sorted it did sound confusing a number from ebay for royal mail that you must give to argos they couldnt make it more awkward could they
I had the same problem with a package sent to Next. In my case the sender had not even sent me a reference so Next could not find the package. The solution was for the sender to resend and Next returned the original to the sender.
