Advice On A Smart Phone

I'm looking for my first smart phone and want one that's really easy to use. I want it under £150, pay as you go, no contract; I'd like good photos, quick internet access. I'm not getting much help in phone stores when it's not contract. The ones I've seen which look good are Samsung Galaxy and Motorola, but I don't know what I'm looking for. I'd be very grateful for any pointers. Thanks.

the samsung Galaxy range is more than adequate, you'd get an S8 for that money.

essentially you have 2 main ways, Iphone and android. Galaxy is android and they all use the same OS with minor differences in their operation. I've never like Iphone so I always use android. Samsung are very prominent and well liked in the field.

If you don't mind spending a bit more, you can get a Samsung Galaxy A22 for £219 from Giffgaff (all phones bought from Giffgaff come unlocked, so you can use them on any network):

If you're not a Giffgaff member, you need to buy a minimum £10 goodybag (top up) but you can cancel it anytime. The best thing with Giffgaff though, is it's a rolling 1 month contract which you can cancel at any time.
