Ms Word - Problem Closing A File!
4 Answers
Recently installed MS 365 Word on my new laptop and there is something I cannot understand!
I have in my docs a number of files which are eml files and open in Word - some are pictures and some script only.
When I first click on one to open a message appears at bottom of screen saying 'Avast MS365 will put to sleep again when finished' or something like that. The first file I open is perfect but when I close it a blue circle appears and will not go away and I have to ctrl alt del to get rid of it before I can click on open another file. Did not happen in Open Office before I bought MS365
I looked in start up but could not find where to see which were sleeping - found it once but cannot remember what I did. Any ideas please?
Thanks
Moggie

Eml files are saved emails. You should open them with a mail client, not with Word!
