Bbc Quiz ; Week 44

A middling FOUR out of seven on the grown-ups quiz for me this week:

There are several nice and easy questions in the junior quiz this week. (Well, it is designed for kids, after all!). Despite that, I was once again 'middling', with THREE out of five:

I seem to be stuck in the middle generally, in fact. I scored FIVE out of ten with the dreaded Timed Teaser (which seems to have caused so much consternation here since I introduced it into things a few weeks ago!):

So, with all my 'middling' performances this week, it should be easy enough for you to beat me but equally possible for you to score lower than me. Which will it be, I wonder? ;-)

Meanwhile, Sharaon is a perfect kid! (Allow yourself to stay up late tonight, for being so good!).
Well done, both of you!
Mozz seems to have got stuck on 4 but, since those are decent enough scores anyway, that's not too bad really ;-)
Cashier is 'around the middle', like me, I see. (In my case though 'around the middle' is usually preceded by 'far too large' these days)
;-)
Kwillmott has sneaked 'bare pass marks' (as I see them) in the first two quizzes but seems to have been caught out by that ruddy annoying timer bar in the final one!
Not a great week for Canary42 though, which is something that started with last week's football scores, if I recall correctly ;-)
[At least it can be guaranteed that Norwich won't lose tomorrow though - but that's only because they're not playing until Sunday!]
