have sony tv / humax tv box / my tv box will not turn on / press turn on nothing happens blue light on box/ can get utube disney no other gadgets connected thank u for any ideas

You returned the previous box to Argos; lets assume you have bought another. Have you had the new box working before now?

as i said got humax it was working ok for the last 4 months

Doesn't a blue light mean that the TV box is on? I would have expected a red light if it is standby, and no light at all if it is powered off. I should check the HDMI(?) cable connection to the TV and that the TV has the appropriate input source selected.

checked hdmi cable seems ok red light on box
