Sharp GX10

I have been given a Sharp GX10 which was on Vodaphone. I have had it unlocked and installed my O2 SIM as I wish to retain my number. It works fine except for MMS. When I receive a picture I get a text to access O2 website to see the picture. I am also unable to send a picture. The O2 website has settings for some phones but not this one and a visit to the local shop was a waste of time as they would only sell me a new phone. Can any of you ABs help?
