What's the best TV recorder nowadays? My Humax has just died after many years of service.

I have a Humax, a Manhattan and also a Panasonic BluRay recorder/PVR. The Panasonic feels slow to react to the remote control, the other two are much of a muchness, although the Humax has more tuners so can record more programmes at the same time. My Humax broke down after about 5 years and was swapped for a brand new one by Richer Sounds under their extended warranty; my first Panasonic BluRay recorder got tuner problems after about 10 years so I replaced it with a more up-to-date version. The Manhattan is only 3 or 4 years old and has given no trouble. My only beef with the Manhattan is that some of the TV Guide/programme setting information is in a blue font which I find difficult to see against the black background.
If your Humax has given you good service I'd stick to the same again as you will be familiar with all the controls and the settings you can make.
