How To Get Something Back From Recyle Bin

I just sent something from my Facebook page to Recycle Bin. What can I do to restore it?

I use Windows 10 on a desktop PC. On my desktop is an icon called 'Recycle Bin'.
If I click it, I can see everything that has been deleted, but which still remains in the bin in case I change my mind. I can then restore any of the deleted items.

I have a MacBook Air. Would there be another way for me to locate it? I am a technophobe, born in early forties and was never to see a laptop until late nineties.

Your Mac book should also have a recycle bin or if this was an email you should have a recycle bin in your mail menu and can send it back to your inbox

I haven't managed to do it. So on Saturday I will ask any person who could talk me through it. I have got as far as to click on my trash dustbin and get a screen which stumps me

The thing which confuses me is that the recycle bin is for files etc that one deletes from one’s computer not things from Facebook

Thank you Mamyalynne. I think I will need a Mac user as I just get a page of turquoise files with a number underneath and when I click on one it says I need to drag it somewhere.

I am on a MacBook Air and if I've binned something I then realise I want I just go to Bin on the L/H side of my screen and go down the list until I find what I want.

Star you're not talking about a Recycle Bin on Facebook are you? If you are I have no idea because I don't use Facebook.

Can anyone help me. I have a MacBook Air and am a user of Facebook. I sent something to Recycle Bin that I want to restore. Please tell me how to do it. I clicked on the three small dots at the top righthand corner of a picture and then clicked on move to Recycle bin. What do I do next to get it back please?

Open Facebook. At the top right of the page you should see a downwards facing arrow - hover over it and you will see 'account'.
Click on that arrow then click on 'settings and privacy'.
Now click on 'activity log'.
On the left hand side of the page you will now see a panel headed 'activity log'.
Scroll down the panel to 'recycle bin' and everything you have sent to the recycle bin in the last 30 days will show in the main panel.
Click on the relevant item then click 'restore'.
