"Printers and Scanners" although they are physically one machine. This is because the two options require different instructions from you and your pc. Your printer/scanner make and model would help and confirmation that is is being recognised by your pc would be a bonus. It is not usually difficult to get the printer recognised. A quick check to see if it is being detected is to send a document from screen, or file, to print. In there you will have a column on the left that has a choice box with options. If the scanner is being detected it will show in the list. Recent microsoft updates lost scanner options for some systems and you may need to install a free scanner app. I used this when my scan function went missing a while back.
