Will a halogen small 2 bar portable electric fire 800W/400W emit a glaring orange light along with the heat?

The heater here offers 400W, 800W and 1200W options (i.e. it has three elements instead of two) but it should be good enough to illustrate the light output from a halogen heater. Move the time slider to the 2 min 20 sec mark:

Thank you Buenchico (or shall I start calling you Chris now?) I actually have one of these which broke down a few months ago and it was so glaringly bright orange that I could not watch the tv without it annoying me. I then found another smaller heater I had which had not got orange light coming from it, but that broke down last evening. It was made by the Range and is an older version but I am trying to find out if it is still possible to buy one without the orange glow. Thank you for your help anyway.
I think you may be talking about an infra red heater rather than halogen.

Depending on the size of the room why not try the plugin ceramic heater.
