I'm having difficulty sending attachments and also opening up some attachments on my phone. Help please.

Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again?

Yes, I know that sounds like a facetious answer but it's amazing how often it actually works!

Otherwise you might need to try reinstalling the relevant app.

Yes turned on and off. I have a Gmx mail account and I can't attach anything. It says that some browsers may not work.

Are you using the dedicated GMX app or the default mail app on your phone?

Not sure chris tbh. I just put gmx into Google, but I have it quick start on homescreen.

That means that you're using the GMX website to access your email, rather than any proper email app. So-called 'webmail' has always been second best to using proper email software, especially on mobile devices.

Simply install the dedicated GMX app and you'll find everything a lot simpler!

(That's not an answer simply based upon a bit of googling. I've got a GMX account and a Samsung Galaxy A12 myself; I always use that app to access my email account).

I went on the app. I can't seem to log out of it. I have 2 accounts on gmx one is personal and one is for all else. I can only appear to get the one account now

You don't log in and out of most mobile apps. They're not designed that way. It's the security on your phone (such as its facial recognition feature and/or your PIN) that protects your account.

You can use the GMX mail app to access as many accounts as you like by following the instructions here:

Hi Chris that has worked, but because I can't now log out how do I go from one account to the other ?

Tap the three line and you should see your additional account(s) listed there.

Thanks for the feedback.

Using the app, rather than webmail, might seem a little awkward at first but I can assure you that you'll actually find it far easier once you get used to it. Further, you'll now get immediate notifications for incoming emails, which you wouldn't have had when using webmail.
