Are there any UK ISPs that have a standard dial in number (e.g. 0161 123 1234) rather than 'local rate' special numbers?

I think Demon still have local POPs. Not sure though, sorry :-(

Is there a reason for the question? There are some 'virtual' ISP's where you don't actually need an account, if this helps you??
