I have a few old photographs that have all turned up in various donations to our local charity shop.
Some of them have copyright indicated on the back of them in ink. Can we sell them?
I don't know if they have any monetary value but if it is okay to sell them I think that we can at least try.
Of course you can sell them. If you check any books, records etc that are donated, you'll find they all have copyright indicated on them. You sell those, don't you?
yeah you can sell the object but not the copyright ( which you dont have) - which is the right to reproduce and sell
not intuitive at all - I am not surprised you asked
I bought a painting where I bought er the painting but cdnt copy and show people. My late papa is the subject of a painting in the IWM. We dont have the painting nor the copyright as I was rudely told by a teenage curator
