They will be wiped from your iPad if they are on there. Are they on Amazon Cloud? Can you access them on your phone too?
I think on the device you will lose them but if they are on the cloud then they stay there ?
You need to backup the photos in the folder to Amazon Photos before doing a factory reset. You will then need to download them from Amazon Photos after the factory reset.

Thanks all, ipad really does need ‘cleaned’ I originally put photos into named folders ie, holidays, nights out etc but when I did a reset ( not a factory reset ) those folders went but the photos remained , I did connect to my PC and tried dragging and dropping them onto a USB but that wouldn’t work either
Why do you need to do a factory reset Bobbi?
Question Author
Yes Gromit, I can but because my phone ‘mirrors’ my iPad as it’s an Apple13 , exactly the same will happen

To clear it Maydup, I notice all the settings in FB have gone haywire so I thought by maybe restoring it to FS I could sort that out + Getting all my photos in one place as I’ve loads of memory on my PC
Bobbi, try uninstalling FB and installing it again. You should only need a factory reset if you are having problems with the iPad itself and not an app.
Upload all your photos to Amazon Photos so they are safely stored in the cloud then if you wish you can download them to your iPad in properly organised folders.
Barry is correct.
Store your photos on you pr PC, then you will have them irrespective of your tablet and phone. You can always transfer them if you want to take the iPad to show your pictures to someone.

Thanks Barry, I’ll do that
