Vandalised Vape Shop.

Passing the local vape shop this morning I saw the vandals had been at work. The windows and door had been splashed with white paint.
You might half understand if a tobacconists shop had been attacked but what's the logicif any, behind this?

The Turks up the road had their window done in - They are hairdressers.

Mind you perhaps one of their 'something for the weekend Sir' failed :-)

Some vape shops, along with many 'American candy stores', have been linked to organised crime, either as outlets for illegal drugs or, more commonly, as a means of money laundering. (For example, it's reckoned by many that nearly all of the recent proliferation of 'American candy stores' on London's Oxford Street are linked to in some way criminality: https://www.timeout.com/london/news/revealed-the-shocking-secrets-of-oxford-streets-sweet-shops-and-souvenir-stores-050522 ).

So it's possible that the shop might have been attacked by criminal rivals. Alternatively (if the attack wasn't simply random, of course), it might well be that someone has a grudge against the owner or is perhaps prejudiced against their race or ethnicity.
