Despite disabling pop-ups I continue to receive constant virus warnings from McAfee. Anyone got any ideas how I can rid of them?

Uninstall McAfee ?

I get the same from AVG, which at least is free. I just click them away. The pop-ups that get blocked are usually, I think, from the internet rather than from installed apps and the like.
