Virgin Media Tv Go App, Cant Find A Uk One?

Ive been looking for an app on my TV for this - via a firestick - and it will only bring up the one for ireland - im not in ireland, im in england.

so i just signed in etc & it said i wasnt registered & to go to the irish virgin tv player site to register so i did.

it then said as i am not in ireland i can only watch international shows

I went through all the different search terms that came up when i typed in "Virg" and they all brought up only 1 app - the irish one.

Im baffled, why isnt there UK version & why is my TV only able to see the irish one?

I signed in also on my laptop & that let me use the irish one in full as i have a VPN, but i dont have a VPN on my TV, & regardless, I dont really want to pretend im irish :D

(i realise i will still be able to see most of the stuff on the player, but there will be lost of things missing to make room for all the local irish TV shows that we dont get here.)

I have the UK Virgin TV Go app on my phone and tablets but I know nothing of Firesticks.

Just a thought - are you trying to instal it from the Amazon App store or sideload it from an unofficial source?

So, given that quote (and the absence of any specific reference on that page to putting the app onto a Fire TV stick), it seems to me that you're simply trying to do the impossible. (Sorry!)
