Did I Overload An Electrical Breaker/Outlet?

I recently purchased a PS5. After plugging it in and working through all the updates, I played games for roughly another hour. Out of nowhere the entire right side of my TV went static. This has never happened before. I’m wondering if I have potentially overloaded a breaker, which caused my TV to somehow surge or something. I am in no way shape or form an expert on electronics/power, so I have no idea if this is possible. It does feel weird that just a few hours after plugging in a new electronic to the wall that this has happened.

I went downstairs and figured out the breakers in my home (I just purchased this home a year or so ago). Two of the bedrooms and the loft area where this incident happened are all connected. That means that everything below is plugged into the same breaker… the one that I added the PS5 to today.

PS4 (was in standby mode I believe)

Google Home Device
Phone Charger
2 Candle Warmers
A lamp
A standing swivel fan

Looking online it SEEMS like this can be caused by an internal TV issue. One of the “ribbons” may have pulled out on the right-hand side. That’s not the technical term, I know. Tomorrow I will take the TV down to see if that’s the case, but again, this just seems like something electrical considering I had JUST plugged the PS5 in a few hours earlier.

No. It's just a problem with your TV.

Try unplugging it from the wall and plugging it back in again.

Breakers are either ON or OFF. Your problem has nothing to do with the electrical supply Mr C.
I agree with the others. It's either the PS5 or the TV... or maybe the link between the two.

It was probably throwing the controller at the screen that messed it up ;-)
