Software To Find Duplicate Paragraphs
7 Answers
Does anyone know of any good software -
(preferably free obvs - but interested in paid too)
that i could copy & paste various sized 'paragraphs' or large chunks of text & find duplicates?
After a computer disaster years ago & loads of attempts to recover lost files, i'm finding huge documents (500,000 words) with the same sentences or chunks of identical text over and over again.
Some are more or less the same but some I've added notes to, so i want to keep some of them - so a complete find & replace won't work.
There are loads i want to keep, but if i can get rid of some of it, it won't feel like it's never going to end when I'm wading through it.
i found 1 that says you only get 5 duplicates before you have to pay, so i thought i'd see what else is out there, if there's anything better
Thanks :)
