Strange Computer Inputting Problem

I've just tried to sign up to Paypal but am unable to enter my email address in the box - either manually or by Copy and Paste. All other info can be input satisfactorily.
Recently I tried to print a returns label to a respectable firm but was unable to Send the msg. Same for a msg to Classical fm.

Laptop in constant use but elsewhere no such problem.

Any ideas please?

Computers are weird. Do you get the same issue using a desktop ?

What do you mean by "unable to enter my email address in the box"? Does text that you type, or paste, not appear in the box?

I don't have a desktop.

Regardless of whether the item is input manually or Copied, nothing appears.
