Hi, Vagus, I didn't want to clog up the lovely thread for Woodelf but would like to know what browser you were using when it threw up the security alert for the link I posted.

It's unlikely to be a browser problem, Barry. It's usually individual ISPs (or the DNS servers that they use) which block access to free web-hosting sites because they assume (generally wrongly, of course) that they're being used by scammers.

It's one of many reasons why it's often a good idea to switch from using the DNS server used by your ISP to a generic one, such as Google DNS (which I'm currently using) or Open DNS (which I've also used in the past without problems).

Okay, thanks for that, Chris. I've never bothered faffing with DNS and other things - I have got tied up and knots and caused humungous problems fiddling with suff I don't really understand in the past
Barry, I couldn't get through on Firefox - no warnings, just "taking too long to respond"

Thanks, jno. It opened instantly in Firefox for me
I got the same, too long, on Chrome

How odd, I've opened it in FF, Chrome, Vivaldi, Slimjet and Edge with no problems.
I use google.
The link says it could be impersonating hirouter.net and I should just come back here. The only other option is ‘show details’ which I’m not prepared to do.

It's a beautiful website.
