dvd/video combo

Hi am looking to buy a dvd/video combo. Have loads of video's that will not be repeated again. I think i am right in saying, if I bought one of these machines I can them transfer my video's onto dvds. But are these machines any good?? if so anyone recommend what make are the best. cheers

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Yes you can! you need to look for the right machine that is capable of 'dubbing'...In theory you put your video in one side your recordable dvd in the other, press the button and you are away...generally the quality will be retained if not marginally improved as it has gone throug a digital process.
