If There Was Any Doubt Of Labour's Anti...

I am in the process of buying a reasonably cheap portable radio for the kitchen. As they are quite cheap now I thought I may as well look into DAB Radios. Has anybody any experience of these regarding the strength of reception ? i.e. is the aerial that comes with the radio good enough or will I have to have a better aerial installed on the roof of the house ?
Thanks in advance for any kind answers.

got to say the sound from a dab is excellent
With DAB you either get a good signal or you don't get a signal that is listenable to.
Go for it- you won't regret it. After I boought a portable DAB I then went out and repleced the bookshelf hi-fi I had, and listen to DAB stations for music almost exclusivley. Fewer irritating adverts and chatter, more great music.
