Not as such, but with so many stations any could be left tuned into for months or years at a time. Not had R2 or R4 on for ages, but not deliberately so.
Radio 2 has lost me completely. I used to be an avid listener 3/4 years ago.
Radio 4 I like when I'm driving or doing something else but Woman's hour drives me mad.
I used to have R2 on all day.Now without Ken Bruce in the morning and Steve Wright in the afternoons, i dont bother anymore.Johnnie Walker is about the only good presenter they have left.
A Good Read is still on Piggy - it's usually on for about 6 weeks at a time.
I've stopped listening to the Today
programme - its too constrained by their timetable and interviews seem lifeless and are constantly interrupted.
I listen to LBC a lot now
I don't listen to the radio much, particularly as I'm not driving at the moment but I only listened to Ken Bruce on 2 anyway. I now listen to Boom if I do want the radio on.
I used to listen to Ken Bruce on Radio 2 but when he left the radio isn't on at all. I did try him on his new channel but found he'd joined the OTT, shouty brigade so he's not listened too now either. If I want background music there's always Spotify.
Only ever listen to the radio when driving - mostly radio 2 for the travel updates but turn to radio 4 when the northern accent women take over - they drive me mad as do most women presenters and the god botherers. Tony Blackburn and Rylan are the only ones I really enjoy and Johnny Walker for the music but not his monotone voice reading out a script as he tends to get to the end of a line then realise there is the rest of the sentence on the next line. I liked the Gold 50s 60s 70s station but can't seem to find that on my new car radio.
