Rip cd`s onto computer

I cannot rip a cd on to my computer, when I try a message appears and tells me that I need to change the cd drive to analog in device manager and click properties clear the enable digital cd audio for the cd-rom device, I have tried this but when I click to properties nothing happens Any advice ?

hi, do you use windows media ten, if not then get it(from microsoft downloads) as this now has the ability to rip and its straight foreward. if not what are you using to rip post back and will try to help more depends what your using.
