Writing Ideas Organiser Software

I tried to run a windows update pack 2 and it caused the pc to become unstable. On advice, I ran the disk to return the pc to factory settings. However, something went wrong because I get "you are running out of disk space on HP_Recovery (D:) message every few minutes and have been unable to rectify the problem. I cannot run computer games (pc doesn't recognise when cd rom is installed) and my daughter has been unable to load music onto her new IPOD. Any ideas please how to rectify ?

Right click on the hard drive (C:) then choose Properties.
Have a look at the free space and used space on your hard disk.
If your free space is low you must clear out some files from your hard disk.
If you have loads of mp3 files and a CD writer then copy them to a CD.
Same if you have some digital photographs, copy them to CD.
If you do not have a CD writer then buy an external hard drive that plugs into your USB port and copy mp3 files and digital photos to the external drive.
You probably need to clear out your hard drive before you can sort out any other problems.
