What Could Be Wrong With My Samsung Tv?
5 Answers
3 year old Samsung Qled 55 inch
A few weeks ago when watching netflix I noticed that the screen was flashing a red colour as the film was playing. I tried a few different films and it was also occurring when playing video games. Turning the tv on and off seemed to solve the issue temporarily.
It was then ok for 2 weeks but last night parts of the picture looked red again. Suddenly the TV went off and I have been unable to get it back on since. I have tried unplugging and holding the power button for 1 minute and it tries to come on (as in the screen glows a bit but is still black) but then goes back off again.
It is being sent for repair by curry’s they are collecting in a week but I wondered does anyone know what could be going on?
It doesn’t get used much maybe half an hour max everyday.
If it does get repaired will they use original/Samsung parts, is the problem likely to occur again at what point should I insist on a replacement?
It is just that I paid a lot for the TV, in fact I have only just finished paying for it via monthly payments lol
