PC Freezing

My pc keeps freezing, I have even tried formatting the hard drive and re loading windows, I know the fans are working fine but it still freezes after an hour ir less, it does it at random, sometimes on the net other times in normal use, please please please . . .any ideas?

PC Freezes can be difficult to solve. What operating system do you have?

It could be software or hardware related. Just re-installing the operating system and software may not solve the problem because you are just putting the same software back on to your PC. What you need to do is first of all try running in safe mode for a while. This mode runs the most basic of drivers and apps. Overheating is also a big cause of freezes so if you are confident take the PC cover off and try running it like this for a while.
