HELP!! I want to make my Dell 3000 more "game friendly" but havent got a clue were to start, is it just a case of buying a better graphics card?? I was going to fork out for an Xbox 360 but have been advised it would be cheaper (and better) to upgrade my PC, is this correct??

Oh dear! Upgrade and Dell dont sit well in the same sentance. Dell hardware tends to be unique so you must make sure that what you buy will be compatibe. You can try contacting Dell but dont be suprised if they are not overly helpful.

dell pc's require dell upgrades. Thats why dells are cheap

You can buy a Playstation 2 for less than 100 pounds. There are hundreds of second hand PS2 games around (in the "Game" shop for example).

A GOOD graphics card for a PC will cost you between 150 and 250 pounds.

Simple decision really.

I agree with vehelpfulguy. Get a PS2!
