Digital Voice Problem.
We have been changed to Digital Voice on BT. when anyone rings us we can hardly hear the tone..is there any way to make it louder?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.You may have been supplied with an adapter that plugs in to your old phone socket and let's you plug your phone in to that, or any cheap extending ringer (usually used in very large houses or by the hard of hearing).
If you don't have the adapter ask BT for one, there shouldn't be a charge. At the same time ask them why your phone is nor ringing as it should.

If you are a BT customer they will give you a free BT Digital Voice Adapter just go on their site. They ask for your phone number then give you a code which you use on the EE site and instead of charging you £20 for it they send it free and that plugs into any electric socket and you just plug your phone into that instead of it going into the router.
I'm assuming your setup WAS
Hub into filter into a BT socket. Phone into filter into a BT socket, not necessarily in same location as hub.
NOW:
Hub into filter into a BT socket in Study. Phone into back of hub (possibly via an adapter unless adapter not needed by the hub). All other BT sockets redundant as no longer working due to change to digital.
SOLUTION:
Get cordless phones (and optional socket doubler). Connect cordless base station into hub in place of existing phone (if you want to keep existing phone, then thats where you need socket doubler into hub, and existing phone and base station into doubler). Setup second cordless phone handset and charger in lounge.
