Itunes Windows 11

using windows 11 and itunes but want to change the place the music is stored on itunes to external drive go through preferences then advanced  and change but when change is pressed it come up with a box in the middle of the screen with i tunes folders in it so the drive which is c cant be changed

Have you copied the existing folders to the external drive? Changing the default location for files will apply only to what you import after that - existing files will remain where they are.
