DVD Burning from XP Media Addition

The DVDs that I burn from Media Addition files will are not reognised by other DVD palyers. What am I doing wrong?

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Are you converting them to DVD format - Not too sure what media addition is, but had a quick look and it appears to be a windows type dvd player (?) - if so then you can watch the AVI/MPEG files on there on your computer, however they wouldnt be recognised by a stand alone DVD player , so what you need is a programme to convert AVI/MPEG files to DVD which are in the format of VOB files, a good programme for converting these is Winavi video convertor,
(free download http://www.winavi.com/en/download/download.htm ) there are quite a few others around though - once you've converted the file you then burn it to the DVD using burning software such as Nero, Roxio for example
