Can I put a 512mb RAM card and a 256mb RAM card together? one is a CL3 and the other is CL2.5.

I'm not sure about the CL stuff, but I just replaced my ram, the old sticks were a 256 and a 128 sdram thingys, they worked fine together.


Just try it, if you get blue screen of death, just remove the 256, I doubt there would be any permanent damage.

I will give it a try, Hopefully it wont do anything damaging. Its DDR ram...........
if they're both the same kind of ram, it should work fine. ideally the same quality, but that shouldn't matter really.
