Since I re installed Windows 10 with the help of this forum every time I start the laptop I have a square in centre of screen with a message and sound 'Run DLL - problem starting a program file.......module not found'
This has happened in the past and it disappeared but I cannot find how to remove it! It only appears once when I first log on and then goes away until my next log on. Any ideas how to get rid of it please?
Thanks
Moggie
An imperfect or corrupted Windows system installation can be analyzed and repaired straightforwardly. Following simple instructions, the user cuts and pastes only three commands. It is called DISM (Deployment Image Service and Management) Online Cleanup Image Restorehealth.
Although Windows has troubleshooting and recovery functions within its settings, like me, you may find this approach to be better. It is simple to follow the instructions on this website.

First though check there are no updates outstanding.
Press the Windows key start typing updates and select "Check for updates" when it appears at the top of the panel. Follow the instructions and install any that are showing.
If that fails to fix the problem then do as above as you should have a clean slate to start with.
