Nokia N70 problems connecting phone to pc

Hello does anyone have any experience of the above phone, as I am having difficulty in connecting the phone to the pc, via cable. I have installed the pc suite but as I said the phone will not connect. I have tried other avenues of support website etc to no avail.

I must be doing something wrong but not sure what it is, I have uninstalled it twice but still comes to the same problem. I have xp home sp 2.

Any advice would be very much appreciated.
