Bbc Quiz ; Week 13
Hi again!
Reasonable enough scores for me this week, I feel, with SIX out of seven in the grown-ups' quiz
https:/
and THREE out of five in the kids' one
https:/
Lie-in King and Scorpiojo (among others) will still beat me though. They always do!
Your turn, anyway!

Well done on that 6/7, you beat me anyway this week.
My scores are
4/7, 4/5
The car boot was a smash and I bought far too much, but cannot resist the craft tables where people have handmade their own items.
Looking forward to Mother's Day on Sunday, as it is my first as a grandma, but will also be spoiling my daughter in law. It will be lovely to spend time with the whole family especially my granddaughter who is almost crawling already.
Wishing you and the terrific trio a wonderful week ahead :-)
Proving me right, straight away, Scorpiojo!
(Well done on being a perfect kid anyway!)
Well done on getting some decent scores, anyway, Karamia!
My problem with geting to car boot sales is their early starts. I'm definitely not a morning person, so being there when the sales open (or even at some time within the next few hours) is far from easy for me!
(I do manage to get to some 'radio rallies' occasionally though, which are like specialist car boot sales for electronics gear, etc. I can browse for hours without buying very much!)
I always mark Mothers' Day on the diary sheet next to my desk but solely as a reminder not to try to find a pub for lunch on that day, as anywhere decent will inevitably have been fully booked up many months in advance.
I hope that you'll enjoy Mothers' Day and that it'll be followed by a great week for you.
Well done, Arky!
(Don't forget the gobstoppers!)
😊
Hiya, Sam!
Another perfect kid, I see!
Well done!
(After a couple of days of feeling a bit below par, for no apparent reason, I'm fine now, thanks. I hope that you're well too!)
Good evening, Haras2!
Well done on getting some decent scores!
I'm glad the spray seems to be working.
'Up to scratch' is something that I'm hoping doesn't apply to the Feline Threesome, as I managed to get some flea treatment tablets into them last Sunday, in the hope that they'll stop scratching! (Last Sunday was 'Tablo Rescue Day', a year after I got her back from her fortnight-long misadventure with no food or drink. So she and her brothers got some freshly cooked chicken that was craftily topped up with flea treatment! This Sunday is 'Chequers Rescue Day', eight years after I got him back from being trapped, for 3½ days, in a neighbour's garage. So there will be lots more treats for all three of them!).
Well done, Sandy!
Putin's portrait of Trump seems to be being kept secret. I imagine it could look like this though:

😊
Tablo has definitely decided that she's not a party animal, Haras2. All she ever seems to want to do is to curl up under the bed covers with me or, if that's not possible (as I do get out of bed occasionally) to jump into my arms for some cuddles!
Hi, Campbellking!
Well done on being a perfect kid this week!
Your post has reminded me that I keep telling myself that I ought to treat myself to some fresh fish. The problem is that the fish van which calls here every Friday morning opens at 6.30am (and then trades until he's sold out) and I'm definitely NOT a morning person!
I've seen some swordfish in Morrisons recently though, for the first time in ages, so I might buy some from there. (Of course I never remember to buy fish in Morrisons on a Friday, when More Card holders get 20% off!)
I hope that you'll all have a good week!
