Good morning everyone! A hint of sunshine at the moment but very breezy! In fact the perfect combo for drying washing on the line! This morning I've got doctors for routine blood tests (just to see if I still need to keep taking thyroxine - for underactive thyroid. Whenever they do the bloods they say I still need to be on them but who knows, maybe today will be different lol).
Have only really twigged that it's actually Easter this weekend. Normally I send cards, or eggs/chocolates or something to kids/grandchildren etc etc.... but what with the hospital & then Devon almost straight after I haven't even thought about it. Would be cutting it fine now to get stuff in post in time -mind you these days the postage would cost more than the eggs!!
Anyone here actually doing anything for Easter, or is it just another weekend for you?

Our only nod to Easter is hot cross buns, otherwise just a normal weekend. The weather is the same here, going to go for a short but hilly walk, want to be back by 11am to get washing machine and dishwasher on for half price electric (2 hours of it today). I haven't yet worked out how to use timers as nothing in the books that came with the machines.
Good morning...fingers crossed on the blood tests. Easter is just another weekend for me. I'm off to the city centre later for a few bits and just to get out. Will avoid it over the weekend.
I too have half price electric so the laundry is going in shortly. If j was able to hang it outside it would be dry in no time...it's quite breezy out.
