I am running windows xp on a laptop (if that matters) and a game demo has asked for a minimum of 32 VRAM.

1.What is VRAM
2.How do I check how much I have?
3.How do I increase/decrease it?
4.Are there any pitfalls to doing this?

Thankyou.

here is the answer to one - http://www.webopedia.com/TERM/V/VRAM.html

Vram is the ram on your video card, I think most cards show the vram size in the very first screen you see when the PC boots, and I mean the very first. usually top right hand corner.
You cannot increase it it is built in to the video card the only way to increase it is to buy a new video card with more ram and it will also have an updated operating system as well.
