I have been looking at which companies give the best package, i need unlimited broadband usage, and preferbly cheap calls, off-peak weekends etc.

Does anyone know which is cheapest, and most reliable?

Many thanks : )

Lots of suggestions in postings over the last couple of weeks. I'll suggest this one to start:-

There are at least a couple of packages I can think of chelsea...

Utilities Warehouse offer a broadband service and a flat rate monthly telephone bill, which offers 24/7 free national and local calls.

UW are also offering 3 months worth of free calls as part of the package, and can offer cheaper line rental than BT.

I think Tiscali also offer a similar package

There are probably others out there as well ;)
I had a good deal with tiscali in the past for a broadband/off-peak calls package, and currently get a good deal with telewest, although you would need to be in a cable area for that.
not sure about cheapest, but I've always found Telewest to be the best. And NTL does pretty much the same things too.

i have blueyonder from telewest, NO bt phone line and a dixons freetalk voice over internet adapter.

you need not have a telephone service from blueyonder.

the only thing is you DO NOT have access to emergency services. do you have a mobile? we have 3 in our house! plenty for an emergency call!

blueyonder 2mb broadband will cost you 15 per month if ordered online. then go to dixons/currys/pc.world and buy a freetalk adapter for 79.99. this includes ALL calls to any number beginning with 01 or 02. for 12 months.

finally if you have any problems setting up the adapter with blueyonder....this is how you do it. it does work.
