Region 2
also depends if its a multi-region dvd player. If its a cheap one then it will only play region 2 dvds.
If it IS Zone 2 only, you may be able to punch in a code to make it multi-region (google DVD zone/region hacks). Or you could get it chipped by a specialist store. Or go for a new multi-region player...
Officially R2. It may be multi-region "out of the box" or hackable. What's the make/model?

Will be R2, but possibly will play other regions.

As a note if you copy a DVD (whatever region it is) using clonedvd 2 and AnyDvd it will make it Region 0, which in effect is region free and will play on any dvd player.
