Seeing the future...
6 Answers
Is it just me or is anyone else frustrated that they'll never see the future, say 100 '200 yrs in the future? The technology we have now, is merely the starting point and we'll never see the fruition of it all. In time we'll seem like cavemen to future generations. I'd love to just be able to spend a day in 2202... Or should I just slap myself and get on with things..?

It seems to me that we've made more progress in the last 50 years than we made collectively since the dawn of time. In that time we moved forward a great deal and it's accelerating faster. Please don't wish it to go any faster. Secondly, if that was the impression of what life would be like in the 21st century I'm glad it was just an impression.
Who wouldn't love to see into the future (specially the winners of the next meeting at Newmartket) but you'd be like a fish out of water unable to use or understand the new technology. I mean if you took someone from say 1850 and transported them here how would they cope? Still no harm in daydreaming is there?
