more Google Earth problems. - when I browse Google Earth it is alwya fine for a while, then I will put a place name in , or a postcode and instead of flying off to that destination it will zoom out a bit and then give me a list of businesses in that ares that match a key word. I have not accidently clicked on 'business layer' or anything like that. How do you stop this from happening? thanks

I still think it's the best bit of free software EVER though!

Try clicking Here, its better than Google Earth if you ask me. Just type in an address and then choose either road, arial or birds eye view. This gives you a much closer and clearer view. Not all addresses are available in birds eye view.
Peanut, your link only seems to deal with the States. Where am I going wrong ?
Drag the map to the left. Just put your pointer on the map, left click and hold the click and drag. Also when putting an address in to look for do NOT use punctuation. Just spaces.
