IPod Not Working

When I turn on my IPod and try select a song, instead of playing it keeps scrolling through all my tracks by itself and I can't get it to stop!!! Any ideas????

I would send it back and get a replacement!!!! You wont lose any of your tracks if they are stored on your computer! If your gonna spend money on a product which doesn't work, why keep it!!! Complain to apple, you might get something free ;0)
a fair bit extreme gill, if you dont mind me saying.

scoobysoo: has it always done this? is the iPod brand new?
my suggestion would be to reset the iPod (hold middle button and play). if that doesn't fix it, use the iPod updater to restore the iPod, and then dock it again in iTunes to get all your music back.
