Musicmatch and MP3 players

For not better reason than having nowhere to store them, I ripped about 150 CDs into my musicmatch programme. I now want to buy one of the latest generation of MP3 players, but I don't want to rip them all again just to put them on an iPod.

Which model would be the best alternative in terms of quality and compatability with musicmatch? I have heard that the iRiver would fit both criteria, but possibly not a Creative.

Any suggestions?

What format have you ripped your music to? mp3? If so, you can use it on any player you choose, including the iPod (but using iTunes, which is better than musicmatch anyway).

Yes, MP3 format.

I can recommend iRiver. You can just drag and drop your MP3's onto the player via Windows Explorer and away you go. They sound good as well.

I've recently got the ATMT 20GB hard drive one off amazon after my Philips one stopped talking to the computer. I can drag and drop files that musicmatch I had with the Philips one from the my music folder on my computer straight across.
