MS Access Function Help

In the MS Access help system is there a list of built in functions somewhere. I have search without sucess.

Seems to be a glaring omission doesn't it? If you choose the online help, there is an alphabetical list of functions.

With the offline help, the closest I could get was a search on functions and then choose the rather long-winded "Comparison of functions between Visual Basic for Applications and SQL Server" etc.

Not sure whether this is what you want, but try this.

When in Query design view there is an �Expression Builder� button (it looks like a "Wizard" button - a magic wand with dust underneath it).

If you click this button you will see a dialogue box. In the bottom left hand panel of this box you will see a number of folders (�Tables�, �Queries�, �Forms� �Reports�, �Functions� and others). Expand the Functions folder and you will see (in the right hand panel) a list of all the available functions. The panel in the centre bottom allows the user to select groups of functions. There is help on most of these functions available via the usual MS-Access Help system.
