Play/Pause/Stop buttons on my keyboard

The buttons which correspond to media player on my keyboard have suddenly decided not to work. Normally when I am using full-screen programs I can just press the Play key on the keyboard to start a song, or the Next and Previous buttons to skip songs. This is very annoying now that none of the buttons will work. I've looked in Control Panel under "Keyboards" but nothing helps. Does anyone know the solution please, as this is really bugging me!

Was there a driver disk with the keyboard?
Try re-installing.

If you check Device Manager there should be one or more HID (Human Interface Devices) listed.
