Is the TV next to hi-fi speakers? The magentic field from these can distort TV pictures.

no it has no speakers near it. thanks

When you say wonky...do you mean CAVED IN AT EDGES (pincushion distorsion) or picture rotated?

Can be Caused as said by KOS, by magnetic effects, but not only from speakers, have seen strong magnetic influece caused by Radiators or other large metal pieces.

Some T.V's have Geo magnetic correction, which rotates the coil to reduce some of the effects - don't beleive the DK's did. If itis magnetism...

''De gauzzing'' the set will cure and the T.v does this each time you switch on and off, so you can turn it on and off several times - If it doesn't work, seek advise froma panasonic dealer - could be any one ofthe 000's of components or IC's on board. Hope this helps
